The McCafe Winnebago Cruiser

Winnebago has teamed up with McDonalds McCafe and New Zealand’s top rating morning show “Breakfast” on TV ONE, to bring McCafe coffee, pastries and the latest weather reports each morning to New Zealanders from the McCafe Winnebago cruiser as it travels throughout New Zealand.

The Breakfast Show's roving weather presenter Tamati Coffey is on road in the immediately recognizable Winnebago Esperance, covered almost totally in bright coloured signage announcing the arrival of the McCafe Winnebago Cruiser to a town near you.

The 6-week Breakfast road trip drives from Invercargill to 90 Mile Beach, stopping to do the weather live from a different town each morning. Tamati drives in to catch up with locals over a morning cup of McCafé coffee and uncover the best of the South & North Island.

Winnebago, who manufactures motorhomes from their large, state of the art manufacturing facility in Sydney Australia is represented by two dealers in New Zealand, both Central Winnebago in Hamilton and Freedom Winnebago in Christchurch who are actively involved in ensuring that the McCafe Winnebago Cruiser distributes steaming cappuccinos and tasty pastries to as many people as possible.

Under the colourful garb, the 8 metre Winnebago Esperance with the large slide out room, Australia’s top selling motorhome, has been modified to carry the two large coffee machines and a multitude of technology to bring to the Breakfast Show audience, all the beauty and wonder of New Zealand, live.
